All exercises are well researched, carefully created and shot by a local videographer with the licensed pelvic floor specialist with 20 years of experience in the field.
10 participants took part in the research over the period of 3 years. Each exercise was performed and intended deep abdominal and deep pelvic floor activity was accessed with the help of musculoskeletal and pelvic ultrasound. The only exercises included in the program where satisfied deep abdominal and pelvic floor activation was noted. The exercises were modified to kick in deep muscle activation and then included in the program.
Each and every exercise is individually shot and instructed by the pelvic floor PT for correct activation. The sub-maximal activation of deep abdominal and pelvic floor muscles was encouraged for the model demonstrating the exercises.
Each and every video is Owned by M2 method. The program includes individualized, carefully created 100+ exercises with many possible modifications for each exercise. This makes the program customisable to every individual as we believe every individual is unique and has individualized requirements to achieve abdominal and pelvic floor stabilization.
We have used human voice-over and specially composed calming music for our exercises for each exercise. This gives our participants a very unique and specialized experience. Human narrating the exercises gives a nice flow to the narration giving you a fulfilling experience.
Our medical illustrator has collaborated with the pelvic floor PT to create the illustrations for us so that the participants can understand the foundation exercises correctly.
We own everything included in the program and every team member is located either locally in the Bay area or on the east coast.
Why m2 method is special as it is not created by fitness or other professionals. This program is created by a Pelvic floor therapist with 20 years of experience. She has owned her private practice in the Bay area for a decade. She has multiple nationally recognised certifications and has been collaborating with top OBGYNs, Gastrointestinal specialists, Urologists and Pelvic pain doctors for the last 20 years.
The main goal for this program is to create awareness amongst the community. This program intends to redefine pelvic health and shut down the “mis-information” present on social media or the internet. This program intends to reach globally and reach women and men who do not have access to pelvic floor PT. This program will give participants as effective as experience they would get from in person treatments. This program intends to teach participants how to work on their deep abdominal and pelvic floor musculature with evidence based exercises.
Participants will have access to the pelvic floor PT throughout the program. Participants will have 2 1:1 virtual consultations with the participants. Participants will have the opportunity to modify their exercises and report any pain or discomfort. As you will be consulting with a licensed physical therapist she will be able to give you sound advice. Physical therapist is available to you via email all the time.
We had 60 women beta test the program. Participants were chosen on the basis of diagnosis, age group and demographic location.
Diagnostics included - 1. Stress urinary incontinence 2. Pelvic organ prolapse 3. Postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction 4. Diastasis rectus abdominis 5. Mixed incontinence 6. Low back and pelvic girdle pain.

90% of the participants had significant improvement in their symptoms. 20% of participants demonstrated improved ability to perform activities of daily living without vaginal pressure due to pelvic organ prolapse. 65% demonstrated reduced urinary urgency, frequency and incontinence. These participants have improved ability to participate in high intensity exercises without urinary incontinence. All the participants had complete resolution of low back pain with improved sitting tolerance at work. The diastasis rectus group had complete resolution of DRA at the end of 12 weeks.
Participants who did not improve were accessed. Reasons - 1. Non-compliance
2. Abandon the program 3. Small percentage of participants needed medical intervention.
